Overview
The Global UGRAD Exchange 2026 is a one-semester exchange program that provides undergraduate students from around the world with the opportunity to study in the United States. This program offers students a chance to immerse themselves in American culture, take courses at an accredited US university, and develop their leadership skills through community service and extracurricular activities. The program is sponsored by the US Department of State and aims to promote mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. Eligibility & Requirements
- •Be a citizen of a country eligible for the Global UGRAD Program, which includes countries in Africa, East Asia and Pacific, Europe and Eurasia, South and Central Asia, Western Hemisphere, and the Middle East and North Africa
- •Be enrolled as an undergraduate student in a university outside the United States
- •Have completed at least one semester of university study prior to the application deadline
- •Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent
- •Meet the language proficiency requirements, which include a minimum TOEFL score of 61 or IELTS score of 6.0
